long week & annoying clients
Jun. 7th, 2016 02:22 pm This week has been really stressful. I had to work overtime yesterday, and I was just not feeling it. I wanted to throw my alarm clock across the room yesterday morning when It rung at 5am. I'm not used to getting up early on Monday's so it was a real drag. After I got off work I took some much needed rest. I watched a few episodes of Dragon Ball Z that I'd recently bought on bluray. After a while I got really tired so I fell asleep. When I woke up my niece was standing in the doorway to my room asking me if I was awake. I decided to get up and move around. I didn't want to be awake all night. I ended up talking with my niece and my mom for a bit until my niece decided to go home.
I got up this morning to do a few chores, and finish up the project I was working on for a client. I sent him a screen cap of what I had so far, and asked him what he thought. I will say I hate doing work for clients because 9 times out of 10 they never know what they want. It always happens even when they're overseeing everything. It's a huge pain in the ass, but what can you do? Needless to say he wanted me to change something, and I told him what I could do but that I couldn't spend too much more time on this project because I was working on other stuff. At this point I'm definitely going to take my time since that's what he told me to do. I actually did spend a lot of time on it, but try telling annoying clients that. It's really hard doing work for people who don't know anything about creating art, or how much work goes into it. It's frustrating.
As for music I've been listening to the following albums.
