Going to the fair and random music stuff

This week was good. My work week seemed to move at a snails pace, but when Sunday rolled around I was glad it was over. My friend and I have plans to go to the state fair tomorrow so that should be fun. I usually don't go to ride anything, but mostly to eat and go to the car show XD! I haven't been in a long time so it should be fun.
I played my guitar a lot over the weekend, and I'm really surprised by how much I've improved. I'm really starting to get the hang of it, which I didn't think I would this quickly. I still have a long way to go, but I noticed that I could play a few songs by ear now figuring out chords on my own and what not.
Speaking of guitar here's a few pics of the Dir en grey band score I found on Amazon for 40 cents. It is used, but it's in excellent condition. I couldn't really pass it up, and I've been wanting how to learn how to play a few of those songs on guitar, and brush up on the bass lines for a few songs. The tabs are very easy to read despite most of the actually written text being in Japanese.

That aside some music I've been listening to has been all over the place. I listened to a little bit of K-pop recently actually. The most recent Wonder Girls album, and the new GOT7 mini album. I'm really digging both of those releases. As far as other music goes I've been listening to Within Tempation, Trivium, The Cure, Joy Division, Tesseract, Cold Showers, Die Laughing, Moonspell, Misfits, Bad Religion, The Beatles, The Doors, and Deafheaven.
I'm probably going to pick up the new Trivium album this week. I love the video for "Silence in the Snow." Many of their hardcore fans have been complaining about their newer stuff due to Matt Heafy doing more clean singing than screaming. I swear these fans just want them to keep re-making the same albums over and over again. I actually really like his clean singing. Anyway here's the video for "Silence in the Snow."
