I finally decided to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1.  I'm liking the interface so far.  It looks so much better than 8.1 in terms of overall aesthetic.  I also plan on upgrading the ram on this thing.  That's something I've been intending to do for a while, but I've just now decided to go ahead and do it.

That aside my friend and I are planning on having a day of checking out video game stores, and going to the movies on the 11th of December.  She told me she would buy me a new game for my Christmas gift so you know I'm pretty hyped about that.  We haven't really hung out since May, and she has a very demanding job (she's a 911 Operator.)  So I'm really looking forward to seeing her. :)

In other news I bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and I've been really enjoying it so far.  I've seen people complain about how it looks in handheld mode for the Nintendo Switch, but I think it looks fine.  Sure it doesn't look as good as Doom, or Breath of the Wild, but I think it looks good enough.  It looks great in docked mode anyway.  Also I'm loving the controls, and overall gameplay.  The only thing I really hated immediately was the English VO.  The character that voices Rex in English doesn't really suit him at all.  That being said I decided to download the DLC for the Japanese audio, and play it in Japanese with subs.

I've also been listening to lots of music, and practicing guitar a bit.  Here's a band that I really like that I discovered recently thanks to post-punk.com.  Also a few links to a few other songs I've been enjoying.Read more... )

About

I'm a 32 year old woman. I'm an artist, and I'm into the Gothic subculture. Things that I enjoy include but are not limited to 80's Music, Reading, Drawing, Animation, Playing bass guitar, Gothic rock, indie music, horror films, anime, comics, video games, and sci-fi novels. I don't know what I'd do without music, and art. I listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees way more than I should.
