I'll post a few quick updates just to let you guys know what's going on with me.

My dad's surgery went well. My mom has been trying to get him to rest, but my dad is one of those types that doesn't know how to sit still, and rest so it's been a struggle. My mom took him to his follow up doctor's appointment today. I'm glad he's doing better. I went to visit him in the hospital last week the day of his surgery, and he was doing so well that they sent him home within a couple of days. :)

A guy at work that I'd never really even talked to much asked me out the other day. He had a weird vibe about him, and physically he wasn't my type at all so I turned him down. He got all huffy when I mentioned we could be friends so that told me what his intentions were. I told him my dad just had surgery, and I was going through a difficult time, but he didn't seem to care. JFC I'm looking for someone who clearly shows empathy for my situation, not a potential serial killer. Later on that evening my sister came over, and when I mentioned that this guy asked me out she told me that he was really mean to his ex-girlfriend, and that he came off as mean to her. Looks like I dodged a bullet tbh.

I've been playing lots of games. I recently purchased "Infamous: Second Son", along with a year subscription to Playstation plus. I'm so hyped for Fallout 76, and now I feel like I'm ready to jump into the beta when it launches in October.

I've been saving some money which is always good. I almost bought a new laptop, but mine still works, and I don't really NEED a new computer at the moment. I wanted a gaming laptop, but that would mean buying more games for different hardware, and that's not something I really want right now. I just got a 2DS XL so I feel like that, along with my Switch, and my other systems will keep me satisfied for a while. Instead I bought some music. I bought the new Interpol album, along with a few albums by the Japanese post-rock band Toe on vinyl. Speaking of the new Interpol record here's a video from it featuring Kristen Stewart which is kinda cool. It looks like they just told her to do whatever the fuck she wants, and she did...lmao.
