a few updates

I’ll post a few quick updates since I don’t have it in me to write out a long post.

• Yesterday was my mom’s birthday and I ended up giving her a card, and some money since I didn’t know what to buy her. She claims she’s not hard to shop for but I disagree wholeheartedly lol.
 

• My week was somewhat tiring as usual, but hopefully my job will let me leave early on Saturday since my family plans on celebrating my mom’s birthday that day.

 

• I've been listening to lots of gothic/symphonic metal lately and I’m not sure why…lol. I really like classical music, and the idea of it mixed with metal is just appealing to me. The bands I've been listening to are: Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Delain, The Gathering [youtube], Lake of Tears [youtube], and Within Temptation [youtube].

• A French pop-rock band that I used to really like years ago called Kyo actually got back together, and put out a new album. It was surprising to me since I figured they were broken up for good. Here’s one of the songs off their new album " l'equilibre".

 

• Lee Michelle (Kpop Star and at one time YG Ent. Trainee) recently debuted with her new song, and video for “Without You”, and I really like the video! It’s nice to see someone mentioning the issues mixed-race Korean children face in Korea in a music video. I've noticed that the commentary about racism in Korea is avoided by K-pop fans, and K-pop artists alike so her video was really refreshing to see.

•I've been watching "Inspiring Generation" and I think it's up to episode 21 now?  It's been getting really interesting lately.  I'm gonna need Jung Tae to kill that old guy because he's such a bastard.  I can't wait until he does.  It will be bittersweet.
