I had a long work week, but luckily it’s over for now.  It was okay for the most part just long, and tiring like work days can be sometimes.  This post will be mostly about music, and upcoming concerts I'm considering going to.  Who knows I may even write concert reports for them.  We will see.

Something somewhat exciting if my friend is free, which she’ll inform me whether or not she will be by today that band I mentioned in my previous CD post, Straight Line Stitch is playing a show here on the 28th! I’d love to go considering I haven’t been to a show in so long, and I really dig their music. Hopefully my friend can come because I DO NOT go to shows by myself. I've never done it, and it just doesn't seem like something that I would want to do alone. And considering it’s a metal show, and the area the bar is in is somewhat dodgy area, I don’t think it would be a good idea to go alone. So fingers crossed that she’ll be able to go so I can go see an awesome band!

Also Lacuna Coil, which is another favorite band of mine, just announced that they’re releasing a new album in April, along with a tour around that time. They will be coming to my city so I’ll probably try to go to that one too.  They've been a favorite band of mine for years, and even though my taste has changed over the years I still enjoy their music.  I've never seen them live so this should be a fun experience.  Plus Christina Scabbia is flawless, and awesome~  She's easily one of my favorite female metal vocalists.

Apparently Boyfriend is coming here for a concertalso. I will state that even though I like K-pop my love for it has sort of dissipated recently,  and I have no desire to see any K-pop groups live (except for SS501, but that won’t happen anytime soon.) I’d rather go see some bands that I’ve been into at moment. Not saying that I hate K-pop or anything, but my favorite type of music will always be, and has always been rock music. So I’m more likely to go to rock shows more-so than K-pop shows. Plus K-pop concerts are really fucking expensive, seriously. I’m not sure what the prices are for everyone else, but the few k-pop concerts they have here are always really expensive. I mean damn they act like I’m going to see Beyonce with those prices they charge. D:

More music talk in here.... )

Yesterday I went to Half Priced Books, and used my gift card that my friend gave me for Christmas.  I ended up buying CD's and not books xD!  But that's usually what happens when I go.  I ended up with these 3 CDs that I will discuss in detail below, along with song recommendations.

New CDs + Romeo is back!  )

About

I'm a 32 year old woman. I'm an artist, and I'm into the Gothic subculture. Things that I enjoy include but are not limited to 80's Music, Reading, Drawing, Animation, Playing bass guitar, Gothic rock, indie music, horror films, anime, comics, video games, and sci-fi novels. I don't know what I'd do without music, and art. I listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees way more than I should.
