It's almost Christmas

So Christmas is in a few days. I figured I would post a pre-Christmas post just in case I didn't get to post before then.
This weekend was a lot better than last weekend. My sister, niece, and nephew came over last night, and my sister kept asking me about the Beyonce videos (since I bought the album on iTunes), so I let her watch all the videos, and her response “Wow, that was weird”, lol. I was like “I think she was going for a something completely different with this album, so it’s not your usual conventional R&B album.” But my sister was a little tipsy so she just kept saying that the videos were “weird”, in particular “Haunted” lol. The funny thing is that video reminds me of a somewhat more explicit version of Ayumi Hamasaki’s video for “Ladies Night.”
My mom and I have been getting our Christmas preparations ready. My family will be coming over our house so we had to get the house cleaned up, and I'll be helping with the baking (yay sweets!) I haven't really been in the Christmas spirit this year for a few reason. One main reason is my sister who passed away really loved Christmas so I've been thinking about her a lot, and wishing she was still here. I get all annoyed when I hear people playing Christmas music...lol. I guess I'm a bit of a scrooge this year. I just think most Christmas music is super cheesy so I don't listen to it.
On a not so good note I think I broke my tablet. D:
Fortunately for me the tablet still works it's just that I dropped it, and somehow the input for the adapter broke so it won't charge at all. Since it's been out of warranty since June I'll probably call a few places around here and find out who fixes tablets, and how much I'll have to pay to get it fixed. :(
Since I see everyone putting together end of the year or best of lists I figured I’d do one for my favorite albums for 2013. Of course these are in no particular order.

It took me a while to compile this list, but these are the albums I've enjoyed the most this year. Overall I think it turned out to be more of a decent year as far as music goes than I initially expected. As far as genres go most of these albums are from various genres including post-punk, post-hardcore, folk, R&B, dance, funk, indie rock, post-rock, k-pop, trip-hop, and rock to name a few. A few pleasant surprises this year included Beyonce, Vixx, M.I.A, Daichi Muira, Daft Punk, and David Bowie. David Bowie is just amazing anyway so there is no way he wouldn't be on this list xD!
