Well I'm still trying to wake up and it's almost 1pm.  I've been trying to get used to the antidepressant meds so that's taking some time.  I noticed that the initial side-effects I was having went away after a while.  So far the medication has been working very well for me.  I don't feel like a damn zombie like I did when I was on Zoloft so that's a huge improvement.

As for other things I've been feeling a sense of relief that I can discuss my sexuality with my mother, and my friend pretty freely.  No one else in my family has any idea so yeah.  It feels great that I can be open with them about how I feel, and what I'm going through.  Also the comments I've gotten from you guys have been very comforting as well.  For the past few months I felt like I was too much inside my own head about the whole thing.  Now I feel a sense of relief because I can fully be myself which is great.

As far as music goes I've been on a huge David Bowie kick these past few weeks.  I've also been listening to a bit of Korean Hip-Hop/R&B, along with the new Savages record, The Beatles, Opeth, and a few other artists.  I checked out some recent K-pop releases this morning and I have to say I really like this song.

Now I'm not a huge fan of this group, but I really dig this song.  He has a really nice voice, and I think the music really fits.  I'll have to watch this group now. :)
I also just listened to the new Bloc Party record "Hymns" on Spotify, and all I have to say is I'm glad I didn't buy it.  It's incredibly boring, and I was not impressed at all.  What happened to them?  They used to be really good, but they really fell off after Matt Tong, and Gordon Moakes left the band.  To be honest I haven't been too impressed with what many of the post-punk revival bands have evolved into (with the exception of Interpol), but they really went left field with this new album, and not in a good way.

About

I'm a 32 year old woman. I'm an artist, and I'm into the Gothic subculture. Things that I enjoy include but are not limited to 80's Music, Reading, Drawing, Animation, Playing bass guitar, Gothic rock, indie music, horror films, anime, comics, video games, and sci-fi novels. I don't know what I'd do without music, and art. I listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees way more than I should.
