Well I think I can say I've fully recovered from that bad cold I had last week. I still feel a little bit weak every now, and then but I feel so much better other than that. Today was my first day back to work, and everything went okay.

Thanks to the recommendation from Krissasaur I started watching the anime "Boku dake ga inai machi" yesterday, and I'm almost finished with it. It's so good! I really love the plot, and most of the characters. I'm going to finish the last few episodes today. I watched it on Hulu but they had it as "Eraser" or something like that.  I'm curious about how they're going to solve everything.  I will find that out today when I finally finish it.

On a side note I've started collecting anime figurines. So far I only have a few, but I don't plan on going crazy with it. I already had a few older ones I bought years ago at Akon that ended up needing repairing. I fixed them and set them up on my shelf next to my bed. I took a few pics of the newer ones.  After researching figma collecting I'm starting to wonder what I've gotten myself into.  It's definitely an expensive hobby, but I'm not going to go too crazy with it.  I'm actually trying to save money this year.  We'll see how that goes...lol.

Here's Goku in his fighting pose

Here's Misato from the Evangelion Rebuild.

They're both a little over 8 inches tall, and they're the largest figures I have so far. I ordered a nendoroid figure of Rin from Blue Exorcist the other day, and I'll probably take pics whenever I get it.

As far as music goes I'm loving the new Deftones album! It's probably one of my favorites of this year. Also speaking of new music I've recently gotten into this Korean R&B singer named DEAN, and he's fantastic.  I love his whole throwback aesthetic.  Here's his video for the song "Pour Up (Feat. Zico)."

Figure collecting gets so expensive. I really like funko pops, but everyone online says it gets super addicting so I'm trying to avoid them. Plus there are some con only, store exclusive types that are really great but hard to get and are more expensive than regular ones. I think the biggest pain with collecting figures is that it's one of those hobbies where you have to pre-order or you'll never get it or pay out the ass for it later. And especially after a figures released you have to be careful you don't get cheap knock off that people charge full price for. I miss figure collecting but I have too many favorites to start. And I'm still pissed my last figure fell and shattered everywhere.

I think the problem with the Fukos is they always have a ton of different variations for each character. For example I wanted the Daredevil ones and there's a black pajama's Matt, and regular Matt, then final costume Matt. And god for each of the Marvel movies there's usually always a new Funko or two for each of the main character (like Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, etc).

I wish I could narrow it down to just one character, but I have so many I love.

About

I'm a 32 year old woman. I'm an artist, and I'm into the Gothic subculture. Things that I enjoy include but are not limited to 80's Music, Reading, Drawing, Animation, Playing bass guitar, Gothic rock, indie music, horror films, anime, comics, video games, and sci-fi novels. I don't know what I'd do without music, and art. I listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees way more than I should.
