catching up on things

 I had to go to work this morning, and do some mandatory overtime today.  I didn't really mind to much cause ya know extra money is always good, and I do have this car note to pay now.  Speaking of the car I finally received my payout from the insurance company for my damaged car.  I decided to start off right, and open up a savings account at the bank, and put a bit of it in the savings.  It feels good to finally be in a position to be able to save some money.  

Also some good news (hopefully.)  My sister is a supervisor at the place I work at, and she was telling me that a couple of people in management are talking about promoting me!  I applied for the position this past weekend, and hopefully I'll be able to do an interview, and actually get promoted.  I hope everything works out because it's a lot more money than what I'm making right now.  It's good to see that all my hard work is paying off.

Also I've been trying to catch up on commenting.  I've been trying to comment on as many posts as I can with something relevant.  I do read everybody's entries, but I don't always get the chance to comment.  I think this week has been hectic because I just came back from out of town, and work usually tires me out.   

As far as other stuff goes I've been shopping.  I bought this really cool antique looking lamp to go in my room, because I felt like I didn't get enough light in my room.  It's really cool, and the light is a lot brighter than I expected it to be.  I also bought 2 new figures.  I bought a Yukito (Card Captor Sakura) mini nenodroid figure, and a Goku figure.  My last figure that I thought was Goku was actually his dad Bardock.  My friend pointed it out to me when we were out of town after I showed her the pictures.  Everyone in that family looks so much alike that I guess I couldn't tell them apart xD!  Anyway now I have a Goku figure that I've ordered from Banpresto.  Oh I also have a really tiny Gundam figure I got in my loot crate.  If you don't know what loot crate its here's a link to the site.  My friend told me about it one day over the phone.  The anime loot crates are pretty awesome. 

As for music I've been listening to a lot of different stuff.  Kate Bush, Garbage, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Katatonia, Deftones, Chelsea Wolfe, PVRIS, and a bunch of other stuff that escapes me at the moment.  That's all for now.

I get the loot anime one. I did try out the regular loot crate, but I really do prefer the stuff you get with the loot anime. I've gotten a bunch of really cool stuff with the loot anime crate. the last one I got a small gundam figure which was pretty cool. The regular loot crate did have some crappy stuff. It is a mish mash of fandoms, and I didn't always get anything I thought was cool. The one cool thing I did get was a hulk figure. Since I'm collecting figures I thought that was cool.

For one month they had a "music" theme so I got a Hatsune Miku lanyard, a blanket, and some earbuds from another anime, along with a phone charm (not based off an anime just a random phone charm), and some sort of glow stick thingy as well as a shirt. I believe all of the anime crates come with a shirt based around whatever theme it is that month. One month I got a really cool shirt from Yowamushi Pedal, as well as a water bottle with anime characters on it. I also got a DBZ Goku funko pop, and a Full Metal Alchemist floor mat. They also like to put a phone charm in all the crates.

Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention they put a manga in all the anime loot crates. So far I've got Yowamushi Pedal vol 1, Your Lie in April vol 1, and Arpeggio of Blue Steel vol 1 (which I've never ever heard of lmao...) I read the first 2 and they're pretty good. I still need to read Arpeggio of Blue Steel though.

Yeah, you get a lot of good stuff with the anime loot crate. I'll be sure to take pictures of the one I get this month whenever it comes. :)

It feels good to finally be in a position to be able to save some money. Oh yes... it's always nice when you can save up some money... ;-D
