I've been having issues with my computer lately so I called Dell tech support. Long story short since it's no longer in warranty they want to charge me and arm and a leg to fix the problem. Needless to say I decided to weigh out my options, and check out a few local computer repair shops instead. In the mean time I will be able to update things online using my old laptop that still works pretty well, and my kindle fire.

I was going to get my dad a shirt for Father's Day, but ended up settling for the good old money inside a card type gift. He was very pleased with it so I was happy.

I got an annoying hang nail on my thumb last week, and managed to pull off part of my fingernail while I was doing chores. It was pretty painful, and it hurt pretty bad the first few days. It feels better now, and I'm glad I'm able to type this entry without wincing in pain.

I actually sort of wanted to go to the Vans Warped tour that's happening next week, but it's on a day I have to work, and I don't really know anyone who would be interested in going. To be honest it's not really my scene. I only liked a couple of bands on the tour so I figured it wasn't a total loss.

The summer heat is killing me lately. I'm not someone who tans easily as much as I just burn. So I mostly try to keep myself from staying out in the sun for long periods of time. I've also decided that I will try to wear light colors every now and then to balance out the summer heat. I do wear black mostly. I won't completely give up on wearing black, but make sure to wear thin material that won't get too hot, and make me feel like I'm melting. I do need to buy some more tanks to wear instead of shirts with sleeves.

I'm trying to save up for a vacation to somewhere in the US within a year or so. I think I want to go to New York, and I have a college friend who stays in upstate NY so that would be fun. I'm still trying to decide exactly where I want to go though. I haven't decided if that's where I want to go or not.

I found out yesterday that one of my coworkers likes Depeche Mode, and she saw them in concert last time they came through Dallas. Now I have someone to tag along with whenever they do another North American tour. :)
