I'm tired of all the snow

illusion_is_mineLast week it snowed almost every day. It's crazy for Texas weather, but the weather here is also very unpredictable. I would have taken pictures, but I never got around to it. When I went outside to get the mail one day I almost slipped and fell...lol. I'm a very clumsy person, but I've gotten less so over the years.
This morning around 3 am it started snowing. We got around 3 inches of snow in my city, and in some parts they got 6 inches. That's quite a bit of snow for Texas weather considering the last few winters weren't really winter. Since I had to be at work at 6 am this morning, and the roads were terrible I decided to stay in, and enjoy the day off.

As for other things I really enjoyed the season finale of Sleepy Hollow last week. I kind of knew Katrina was going to eventually turn into a dark witch. I wondered how they would handle sending Abbie back to the 1700's, but they did a good job with the plot. I was glad that Henry was finally out the picture, although I'm not too sure if it's for good. Hopefully they renew the show for a new season because it would be a shame for it to end it like they did. I was hoping they would be fighting something bigger for the new season. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
There is one show that I just stopped watching in the middle of the season, and that was American Horror Story: Freakshow. I can honestly say that I got bored with the plot about halfway through the series, and stopped watching it after that. I really liked the first 2 seasons of AHS, but I didn't like this one at all. I didn't really like any of the characters, and the plot was just all over the place.
Here's a last.fm summary of the music I've been listening to lately. I ordered a few new CD's from MUCC, and Coaltar of the Deepers so I've been listening to them quite a bit. I usually listen to Siouxsie and the Banshees so no surprise there. MUCC was actually a band that I was indifferent to for a long time until I finally listened to one of their albums. I really dig Tatsurou's vocal style, and Miya's guitar playing really adds a nice touch to their music. Anyway here's a song by them that I've had on repeat lately.
