everything is getting back to normal

I've been really busy this week since I've had to do most of the chores around the house, but I think I'm getting used to it. My mom has been doing a lot better since her falling incident. Today I took my car to the tire shop to get my tires rotated, and to the local grocery store to pick up a few things.
I wish I could say my dad was helping, but when I asked him if he could wash a the dishes over the weekend I realized that he almost forgot and didn't wash them until 1am. Now he did do the dishes, but he didn't clean off anything so that really annoyed me. I figured it would be best if I did it. My mom's doctor's office called her today to schedule her an appointment for Monday, and she called my dad and told him to take her saying "Well Ashley has been doing everything, so you can take me to the doctor." I was very grateful that she acknowledged how much I've been doing since her accident. My dad seemed somewhat angry when it happened, even though he said he wasn't. I think he felt bad because he wasn't there when it happened, and I ended up having to do everything. Either way things have been moving along.
I found out they actually renewed Sleepy Hollow for another season. I was worried that they weren't going to since the plot took a nosedive around season 2, but they did. Season 2 did start to improve around the last 5 episodes or so I would say. Hopefully with the new season they can fix a lot of the issues many people had with Season 2. I'm looking forward to it.
I realized I haven't really read any manga, or watched any new anime for a while. I find it really difficult to get into many of the newer titles. I tried to watch "Attack on Titan", and ended up hating it for the most part. I've decided to just stick to older anime so I've been watching a lot of stuff from the 70's, 80's, 90's, and so on. I recently watched "Bride of Deimos", and I thought it was good. I mainly watched it cause Rintaro directed it, and I usually like most of the stuff he does. His work on "Neo Tokyo", and "Metropolis" is fantastic. I need to re-watch the 3rd Neon Genesis Evangelion re-build movie again. Quite frankly that movie really confused the hell out of me when I first watched it, but that's Eva for you. The End of Evangelion still confuses me to this day.

As for other things I've been buying more music lately. I actually had to get rid of some old CDs I no longer listened to to make room in my CD rack for the newer stuff I've been buying. I've also been buying more vinyl because I just find it relaxing listening to music on vinyl as opposed to digital music. It gives me a sort os nostalgic feeling of the past. Anyway here are a few of my current CD, and 1 vinyl purchase. I'm glad to say I have all the NIN that I like. I don't like everything that they've put out but I have the main albums I enjoy from them. That CD in the bottom left-hand corner is the new Lebanon Hanover album "Besides the Abyss" I ordered from Germany. I'm glad I found "Black Sabbath vol 4" on CD. It has some classic Sabbath songs on it, and I really like the album a lot. And of course The Sister's of Mercy's "Floodland" is something that I've been meaning to pick up for a while. That Pretender's album is something I just happened to find in the vinyl section. It's probably one of my favorite albums from them so I'm glad I was able to snag it on vinyl.

As for other music I've been listening to here's a link to my last.fm.
